The Caregiver ReCharge Service provides flexible, worry-free, in-home relief for caregivers who can use a much-needed break from caring for the day-to-day needs of a loved one with high needs. Developed by the Mississauga Halton Local Health Integration Network (Mississauga Halton LHIN), the program is a collaborative community service offered by the Alzheimer Society of Peel, Nucleus Independent Living and Links2Care and their healthcare partners, AbleLiving and Home Instead. Service providers partner to deliver in-home respite care to caregivers across the LHIN.
