Services

Improving quality of life through respite

The Caregiver ReCharge Service was created to provide respite support to caregivers caring for loved ones with high needs. The service provides temporary relief for caregivers who are experiencing high levels of stress or burnout as a result of their care giving activities. Care is provided by trained staff who temporarily assumes your care giving responsibilities in the home. The service is an alternate option to traditional out of home respite programs. We see you as a ‘partner in care’ and will work together with you to develop a respite schedule that best meets your needs. We provide you with a set number of respite hours, and you decide how much service and when the service is to be provided.

In-home support may include

  • Movement and transfers
  • Dressing and undressing
  • Personal hygiene
  • Preparing meals, help with eating
  • Medication reminders
  • Some recreational activities (i.e. playing cards, reading, games, etc.)
